We are gearing up for another wonderful year of the Christian Professional Phone Directory and we have exciting news to share. On July 1, 2009 the CPPD was sold by Stewart Smith to Christian Health Associates. After 9 years of promoting your Christian owned and operated business with our community of Anchorage and beyond Stewart decided to sell his beloved CPPD to a ministry that will continue the effort. Stewart selected Christian Health Associates because of their ministry, Alaska Medical Missions. AMM connects resources in Alaska to urgent needs for medical supplies and other aid in developing contries all over the world. AMM receives fully funtioning medical equipment and supplies from numerous sources, inventories and stages the supplies to be distributed by short-term humanitarian teams, youth groups, medical professionals, career missionaries, airline personnel and anyone traveling abroad from Alaska.

Alaska Medical Missions helps to increase the level of heath care in developing countries by decreasing the medical waste footprint on Alaska through our extensive medical supply recycling program. Since 1999 Alaska Medical Missions has moved over 300 tons of medical supplies to more than 75 countries, saving lives while saving our planet.

Over the next couple of weeks Brandon Tatum, Executive Director of Alaska Medical Missions will be contacting you to discuss your current advertisement in the CPPD, the 2010 publication and the changes that will be taking place within the CPPD.
